JSA Gym

Anyone who has made the decision to get fit knows how intimidating it can be. It’s hard to know where to start, what to do, what your limits are. For those who are already physically active, it can be difficult to push yourself to reach your longer-term goals. Luckily for all of us, personal trainers exist to support people at every stage of their fitness journey.
There are so many reasons why you should consider a personal trainer – far more than we could fit in a blog post. We’ve come up with a few, to give you an idea of what they can do for you:

  • Education: one of the most important things a PT can do for you is to empower and educate you about all aspects of health, fitness and nutrition. They will also show you what correct form looks like when you exercise with them, reducing your risk of injury and making the exercises as effective as possible. This is helpful both for people new to exercising who may need to learn the movements from scratch and the more experienced, who might only need some little tweaks.
  • Personalisation: Workout plans are freely available online and can be very helpful. Even so, a few sessions with a personal trainer will help you develop a targeted plan that takes your personal needs and goals into account. They will also help you identify areas of need that you may not have even considered! A fresh perspective can really help make a stale or unsuitable routine much better. If you have any specific health conditions or injuries, a PT should also be able to help you work out with these barriers in mind (always check with a doctor before starting any new exercise routine)
  • Accountability: When you meet with your PT, they will usually want to know what exercise you have done for the week. This makes it much less likely that you will skip your workouts, if there’s someone you don’t want to let down! Plus, PT’s make great workout partners!

At JSA we are proud of our dedicated personal trainers. They always give 100% to help our customers reach their fitness goals and many have reached levels they had never thought themselves capable of before.
If you would like to meet with one of our personal trainers, get in touch today and we can organise a meeting with them.
